Marina Rose…passing dimes

Marina Rose is a sophomore outside hitter who had been a freshman starter in our backrow last year.  Her experience over the winter and summer has helped her make an immediate impact in the front row.  She is explosive off the floor with a quick arm swing and has led us in kills during several of her matches.  Her most valueable skill is her ability to pass the serve.  She never gets aced and offen places it right in our setter's hands so our middles can pound away.  The future is bright for this Coventry Outside Hitter and as the ...

Stephanie Oliver….senior OH

Stephanie Oliver is coming into her own this year as our first option in potentially the best offense in the state.  Stephanie has had 2 great state final showings winning the MVP last year as a junior with 20 kills.  This year her confidence is very strong and her defense and ball control continue to improve every day.  Look for her to be one of the main offensive weapons for a Coventry team that is thirsty for another deep post season run.

Coventry Volleyball Camp July 12th-July 16th 9:00-3:00pm Coventry Middle School Volleyball Camp July 19th-July 23rd 9:00-3:00pm . Camp will be given for girls that are entering High School or already in High School. . Teams will be broken down based on skill level and experience. . Former Coventry Volleyball players will be coaching during the week as well as High School Coaches. Tim Guernsey (RHAM), Renee Salvas (Bolton), Coach Roberts (Coventry) as well as several graduating members of the 2008 and 2009 State Champion Coventry High School Team will also be working the camp. .
